1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Hometown Mail Co. service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Hometown Mail Co. provides a shared direct mail marketing service where local businesses can advertise on oversized postcards mailed to residential addresses via USPS Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM).
- Each postcard features multiple businesses, with one exclusive spot per business category
- Postcards are mailed monthly to designated geographic areas
- Services are sold in prepaid 3-month or 6-month terms
3. Eligibility
To use our Service, you must:
- Be a legitimate local business operating in or serving the advertised area
- Have the authority to bind your business to these terms
- Provide accurate business information
- Not be in a category we have determined to exclude (e.g., adult content, political advertising)
4. Payment Terms
All payments are due in full before your ad is included in a postcard drop. Prices are listed in US dollars. We use Stripe for payment processing.
- Minimum commitment is 3 months
- 6-month campaigns are also available at a lower monthly rate
- Refunds are available only if a drop does not proceed due to insufficient participation
- No refunds for approved and printed materials
5. Content Guidelines
You are responsible for the content of your advertisement. Content must not:
- Be false, misleading, or deceptive
- Infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
- Contain adult, violent, or offensive material
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
6. Category Exclusivity
We guarantee that only one business per primary category will appear on each postcard within a given area. Category assignments are at our sole discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
Hometown Mail Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
